Freedom Pushed Aside When a New Mayor Pushes the Wrong Kind of “Change”: “Melontown Gets a New Mayor” by Sarah Durand

Melontown Gets a New Mayor: A Children’s Book of Traditional American Values has been released by Sarah Durand of ConservativeKids.org. Colorful illustrations and whimsical rhymes carry the reader through a fun, and engaging tale in the importance of freedom.

The story is set in Melontown, a small town of happy melon farmers. But, when they elect a new mayor the rules in their town start changing in a very strange way; the new mayor loves making laws, especially silly laws…until the whole town is “a jumbled up, mixed up mess.”
